Kapaeeng Foundation
Kapaeeng Foundation, a human rights organization of indigenous peoples in Bangladesh, is looking for motivated indigenous youths (male/female) for internship for a period of four months. Interested candidates are requested to lodge their curriculum vitae with a cover letter at [email protected] by 15 February 2017.
About Kapaeeng:
Kapaeeng Foundation is a human rights organization was established in 2004 with the view to working for promotion and protection of the rights of indigenous peoples in Bangladesh. The vision of Kapaeeng Foundation is to establish a society based on the values of justice, equity and freedom where human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous peoples are ensured.
Looking for:
- Goal-driven, hard worker, punctual, committed and team player.
- Interested to work for indigenous peoples causes.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Bachelor degree.
- Any educational background, but Law, Social science, Development studies will be given preference.
- Should be skilled in MS word, Power Point and Excel.
- Fluency in English writing and speaking would be considered an advantage.
- Must be an indigenous.
- Candidate must fluent in at least one indigenous language.
Roles & Responsibility:
- Fact finding, documentation and report writing.
- Participate in outreach programs and events as appropriate
- Management of different events including trainings, seminars and conferences.
- Support the task based needs of the on-going programmes and projects of the organiztion.
- Carry out duties in a professional manner
- Assist in gathering specific assigned information for Kapaeeng Foundation.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job type: volunteer.
Job duration: 4 months.
